Following a twenty-three-year career in Arts Theatre Management, Steve retrained with the Yorkshire Academy of Film and Television Acting (YAFTA) and gained a Diploma in Applied Screenwriting (Distinction) in July 2019, under the tutelage of Simon Stirling.
In addition to commissions copywriting commercials, Steve has written several narrative projects currently in circulation including TV pilot YORK 19 and three-part drama series THE SPIV, following a Blackmarketer at the end of WWII.
Currently in development are a Yorkshire-based Comedy following the exploits of a hapless Ice Cream Man, and a drama based on the music of Kate Rusby.
Steve’s latest commission has seen him adapt two books from the ‘Monster’ series, written by Donia Youssef: the screenplay for ‘The Monster in Mummy’ and the animation feature ‘Wonderland.’
Steve is based in Leeds, Yorkshire with his partner, Helen, and daughter Connie.

From an early age Tom has always been creative. Following some success in his local music scene, Tom decided to follow his true passion in life - telling stories. Tom is currently writing several spec scripts for both TV and Feature films, entering screenwriting contests and plans to film a short film he wrote. Toms latest commission has seen him adapt three children’s books from author Donia Youssef - an animation titled ‘Sadie and the Grove’. Mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart.
